i am encountering a problem with the app world...
it asked me to update it "To continue using Blackberry App World, you must upgrade your current version", then it brings me to the web page, but then when i click update today, it says "A communication failure has occurred. The server may be busy, please try again later. If the problem persists, contact your service provider".

anyone having the same problem?

you're using wifi or bis?

bis was once activated but since i did not continue renewal, it was cancelled.

i asked the wrong question.
actually no matter you try using bis/wifi, the error is not on our part, it's on the website.
have you attempted update using the app world and search for update?

but still it led me back to the same link
if it is the website problem, i will write an email to whom it may concern then and try my luck

i think it might their site problem..
some more they have upgraded their website, maybe some link has already gone down..

idk what's wrong with my bb but suddenly it detects no battery. almost two years of using then now already got problem. anyone think i should replace the battery?

have it made issues such as fast drain?

use only wifi from home. don't use BIS.
I just attempted on a fully formatted phone and it doesn't work with BIS.

yeah i think so since it already happened before this. until now the battery cannot be charged. so i need to change another battery? i heard sunglobal are good?

sun global is currently one of the best. go for it.
don't go for original, one battery is already rm180.

lol strange thing happen today. i tried to plug the charger then my bb suddenly charged the battery. well nevermind i know it'll happen the same thing before this. anyone know the latest os? i think the last time i update is 7.1.0.523

so which one of those should i update? the maxis or from the original website? btw is there any improvements on this os?

all link lead to the same site,bb.net. the only different is the telco.
that's why i simplified and put links to all telco.
so far i noticed significant updates on some options, the battery saves a lot more and the speed is a bit improved.

so i would go for maxis if my telco is maxis right?
