you can update it OTA through the Desktop Manager ,

but so far, 9790 didn't get the update yet..

you may try to check the update via DM ..

OTA = over the air , means update it online , through Desktop Manager ..

Desktop Manager is the Blackberry Desktop Software ,

update it there...

You can update if the updates is available biggrin.gif  if not available, you need to wait patiently biggrin.gif

The update process is different from offline installation process,

Mind that you need to backup your data and apps
*

I was thinking of a higher capacity battery, the current battery heats up very quickly and drains fast too. I only use 2G/EDGE and by evening, the battery will be 30% ....

Added on January 24, 2012, 11:04 pm

That depends on your location.

For me, i usually choose either 2G or 3G. I dont like the 2G&3G function. If you see the 3G logo with a Blackberry logo on your top right corner, means you are connected via 3G, if EDGE = 2G.

Uploading photos with 3G is much faster than EDGE. Probably because of the poor network reception in your area  nod.gif

so it would better to choose both or depend on the location?
