Sometimes SP2004 runs fine but not SuperPI, and vice versa. Don't really know which to believe.

For me stress test is doing what you normally do with your PC for a few hours. If they manage to run without any problems, you're good to go. If you want your PC to be rock stable, Prime/SP2004 is the way to go.

Hmm I see, normally my way to test stablility is to run 2 copies of SP2004 for hours too.

i would be happy to have a 2.6~2.7GHz prime stable DC opty, it's as good as 2.9~3.0GHz SC opty in some applications...

for single core, 1 prime of custom test will do. just set in-place FFT with the min 8k and the max according to L2 cache size.

blend for testing cpu+ram together.... also sufficient enough

Any comments? Using stock HSF.

Cantik. Try lar 3ghz. No need to wait for ram. Use lar 1/2 dividers first.

I have tried 1.488v and 1.52v. Temp around 50-55c.

Hmm.. think you will need more than 1.52v. Apparently CAB2E 0610 GPAW can do high speeds at default vcore but need more vcore to reach 3ghz.

Get a big bad *ss table fan to blow at your heatsink and try it again with higher vcore.

By the way, did u test that your chip / mobo can do at least 334mhz? e.g. 334mhz x 8

i think all DFI can do that without any problem ?

my opty 165 only can do 292X9 at stock vcore. cant go higher. If I go higher I got the message C:\windows\system32\config\system is missing/corrupt. dont know what to do anymore.

That's a pretty good overclock with stock vcore. Try increasing it if you want to go higher.

I have tried 1.568v also cannot pass prime95. After 4 minutes. it's will stopped. Isn't possible because using stock hsf cpu and stock hsf nb?

same result no matter what vcore is. If I used 8 multiplier ,htt can go higher. maybe it is the limit for the processor.

I think it's bcoz of your heat, change yr HSF


May I know what board u r using? Last time i have this problem oso, bcoz of CnQ as well as drive strength.
