What program is that? It predicts the overclockability of a processor?

I'm at 2.5Ghz at the moment, with dividers on the ram so they're at 220+ 2.5-3-3-6. Dual SuperPi 32MB failed after a few minutes but when I changed the timings to 2-3-3-6, SuperPi completed without any problems

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ May 3 2006, 11:20 PM) how much is d "sambut" price? RM900 will get you the processor right away or else somebody will get it for RM870 at noon tomorrow hows d temp of this DC opty if compared to ya x2? IIRC, ya x2 alwez "demam panas" one... As for the temperature between the two, I think they're about the same. Manage to pass SuperPi 32MB using dividers and tight timings. Gonna run Folding for the rest of the night |

QUOTE(charge-n-go @ May 4 2006, 12:01 AM) 290X9, 1.4v, ram at 217mhz 2-3-3-6QUOTE(ah_khoo @ May 4 2006, 12:06 AM) nooo.... all my $$$ spent in Genting ledi... 2.8v, 2-3-3-6. Medium tight only back to topic: wat kinda voltage did u pumped into ya tccd in order to make 'em run @ tight timin? juz curious to know... QUOTE(charge-n-go @ May 4 2006, 01:02 AM) TCCD works well @ 2.8V and below even for tight timing. I never really played around the the different timings so I don't reallly know the full capability of my TCCD.2-2-2-5 is For me impossible to pass 211MHz even with high voltage n drive strength. 2-3-3-6 can run up to DDR468 with 2.70V only. Hmm... arj i oso wanna know yr voltage, see how's my TCCD compare to yours |

After tinkering with the processor for a few days, I've decided to settle with 2.5Ghz. The full load temp during the afternoon without aircon is 58 degrees so I've decided to hold back for the time being until I've install the waterblock.

QUOTE(fantasy_kenny @ May 6 2006, 05:21 PM) I'm using the Thermaltake Typhoon. My Opteron is dual core which is much hotter than its single core counterpart.Anybody here with 2.8-3Ghz Opteron runs Folding@Home? How many points per hour does it produce? |

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ May 6 2006, 08:41 PM) go water arj... heard that opty doesn't response well w/ voltage, but lower temp do help to achieve higher clock. betcha ledi knew it... kk.... later tonight I'll go rummage my stuff to look for the watercooling parts dual core rox, that's for sure... |
