This type cannot find here.

The only way is special manufacturing. (they have the die) Than sure require project qty la. Factory in shah alam.

I want to use for solar panel ontop the tile roof.

Not like it to use as awning. Sunlight can't go through. Create more dark in the house.

I am planning to construct a window out of an empty wall to get more natural light into the house and to get a view to the outside. The window is at the first floor. I don't need to open the window as there are other opening for ventilation.

My contractor suggests to use tempered glass for the window, then build awning with roof tiles and metal frame outside to reduce glare from the sun (window is facing north) and cover it from rainwater. Please give opinion for this type of design. The materials suggested is OK? I wonder if wooden frame is better. What if it is without awning.

For hollow metal support awning, can we conceal fan and light wiring into the hollow metal to install the fan/light? If possible, drill the metal, how can we patch the hole back?

Hi All,

Any contacts for Pergola made by timber and then with clay tiles?

Nowadays mostly go with PC, ACP or glass but not many will do timber and clay tiles.

Comments?

Thanks smile.gif

Did my polycarbonate Pegola awning with Supercool and two thumbs up for them.

Dimension is 31x12 ft and cost me 10k .The beam material used is thicker than normal due to the width of my car porch.

Experience workers and toke them 3 days + to complete . Can be complete faster ,due to rainy days lately.

Have quoted from one of the Lexan contractor and the damage is 14+k. Besides pricing the other downside from Lexan is the design is not as good as Supercool can provide. Also 1 of the limitations from Lexan contractor is that more beams will be used thereofore affected the overall design.
Supercool provides many choices on polycarbonate (10 years warranty) and most importantly the advice they gave is really good.

Satisfied customr and recommended awning contractor  biggrin.gif

I notice most ppl will go for green to match their balcony or window glass color but it will make your house look green. So, do use a touch light to test when you are choosing your polycarbonate color.

Hi

You can try https://www.polytechdesign.biz/

Otherwise , there are many Installer out there
Keep the Invoice. Any issue as consumer you can use the invoices to demand your right

Don't choose hit and run installer.

A good Polycarbonate Roof should last more than 15 years

Cheerio
