QUOTE(tiensong @ Feb 29 2012, 11:35 AM) Last time very cheap 1. That time not that famous with this poly awning. The poly material is from taiwan. If not mistaken, cost me aroung 4-5K.Added on February 29, 2012, 11:47 am QUOTE(tiensong @ Feb 29 2012, 11:41 AM) I still headache on choosing colour....i dont like green, blue and red colour.....now left brown and clear (no colour) to choose.....if use transparent, my 300++ sq ft balcony will always under hot sun....so, maybe will choose brown rough surface which can block 85% sunlight...haiz....another decision need to make is...use pergola type (balau wood) or metal frame.....metal easy to maintain....anyone give me some opinion? You got to see the color blend or match to your exterior wall color or not. I choose green cause it match my wall color. And green give brigther look and more light into my house while shading the area. Thanks This post has been edited by ozak: Feb 29 2012, 11:47 AM |

Where can I find this kind of awning? In other world, it call stand seam metal roof. The flat surface min is 15" width. Either flat or a bump but curve in.

QUOTE(jerryng75 @ Jan 26 2013, 12:28 PM) Hi Ozak, It already 14yrs. Don't expect it to last long. As long as nobody touch the sheet, it is still ok. I think you purchased an Un-Coated Polycarbonate ( Which is NOT Chemical Resistant) Transparent Plastics allow Light, UV & IR to pass through ( Your Car Dash Board is NOT Transparent, therefore, with UV Retardant, it will not spoils after many years) However, UV Retardant will not work with Transparent Plastics UV will Damage all material, even your White Shirt will turn yellow Your Case is like below Photos right? Breakage? ![]() Yellowing? You need to replace that. Replace with a 10mm Twin-Wall, Better Heat Insulation, More Beautiful & Less Noise compare to 6mm Advise : 10 mm Lexan Solar Control IR ( Hollow Type) But the idiot cat like to land on it. That cause the sheet to crack and fall down. |

QUOTE(ar188 @ May 1 2017, 10:40 PM) This type cannot find here. The only way is special manufacturing. (they have the die) Than sure require project qty la. Factory in shah alam. I want to use for solar panel ontop the tile roof. Not like it to use as awning. Sunlight can't go through. Create more dark in the house. |
