i just got my betta and he is still in the plastic bag. Will put him in the big container later. Should i use the water that is provided or use new water with anti-chlorine?

How often should i change the water after that?

my humble 0.02cents opinion
i will use the water in the plastic bag mix with new water.
If HM or CT should change water every 3 days..for HMPK i will change once a week.

Added on June 15, 2012, 4:03 pmuse aging water...if u got water filter like diamond etc then use that one better (no need anti chlorine) if use tap water must add anti chlronine but keep the water overnitelah if possible....

if u got time...buy blackwater and put few drop....if no money go find dried ketapang leaves hehe....

i change water every 3.5 days since i only have 4 HMPK (actually 5 but 1 showgrade died last week)....and i feed them twice a day using bobby micro pellet....4 pellet each hehe...saturday sunday bloodworms ! on rare occasion sometimes left over brine shrimp or sui chi if i pass by pudu....

Yew Lin: What is the Prawn button? Is it betta feed?

Anyone knows why hm betta start biting its own tail? He lives in a 15 gallon tank alone since he killed the last of the neon tetras. After the kill start biting himself. Is he bored?

Prawn button is for testing only....because last time when build the website...i need to do testing...will take out soon to avoid confuse.

maybe is gene problem or too strees...try to put ketapang and see.

oic I thought feed for betta babies coz last time my platy ate my cherry shrimp.

Thanks, yew lin. Sounds like ketapang is magic potion for betta keeping since all the pros recommend this. I thought he was sexually stressed coz my drop filter doesn't allow him to make bubble nest

guys my bettas suddenly stop blowing bubbles but everything is fine
