Maybe you can call maxis and ask whether existing family plus plan can tag-on with Iphone plan. Last time they allow tag-on with Family plus plan with Idata plan.

I believe can... but if I compare 50 Value plus internet with digi 55 iphone plan, the call rate, data, free calls, sms....maxis is totally out. The drawback for digi is the coverage and line stability have to compromise i guess....hey, all telco make money from us only....

You must understand Maxis customer service for Iphone is very good. If you got a problem with your handset and it's proven not to be your fault, you can get a replacement on the spot (if you are lucky) , but within 1 week you can get it settled already.

After sale service for Iphone is very important.

I hope Im at the correct section since it's iphone and maxis related.

Let's say I sign up for the RM155 plan for 4s.
Then iphone5 will come out in the summer, if I want to get the 5, can I sell my 4s and buy the 5 and continue on that plan?

ps. Im planning to get the RM155 plan for a 12 month contract.

As the iPhone 5 is not release yet, thus, no plan for it as yet.

Assuming that Maxis will practise the same procedure for those who are still in contract and thinking of upgrading to a new phone.

You could continue on the current contract and prolong with the new phone contract.

As example: you have remaining 4-month for your iPhone 4s and you would like to upgrade to iPhone 5.

Your contract plan tenure would be: 4-month + the contract period of your iPhone 5

however your contract cannot exceed 30 months in total.

Guys, I'm currently using a DIGI line and on data plan as well. I'm going abroad for a week and my company subscribe to a unlimited Maxis data plan for my business use (company line).

If I swap my Maxis sim card inside my iPhone, that means I'm allowed to use all the application + web surfing right? (as if my DIGI sim card is inside)

Anyone got problem with pre-payment monthly fee. The RM200 thats suppose to be given back to you on monthly basis up till 5 months.. It's have been 4 months and I never get back those amount. I can see my deposit RM200 in the bill. But the amount suppose to offset your bill each month for RM40.

Already report to Maxis but still no answer.

Do you have outstanding amount in your bill? If you do, clear those amount first. Only then Maxis will deduct the deposit. That's what they told me.

happened to me too. you need to have 0 outstanding on your bill only they deduct it from you deposit

2 month got outstanding.. another 2 is clear.. When my line is barred than I pay full.. But their billing hit and miss.. BTW, they said nothing about got outstanding need to cleared. Even it's not cleared they should deduct from deposit since it's not related. Their website also said 1st 5 month, so 1st month should got RM40 directly.

Anyway this settled already, the next day receive call from maxis.. The put the money directly to my account since it's already 4th month.. So now it's -200 in my account.
