QUOTE(barca96 @ Mar 31 2012, 09:34 PM) I hope Im at the correct section since it's iphone and maxis related. As the iPhone 5 is not release yet, thus, no plan for it as yet.Let's say I sign up for the RM155 plan for 4s. Then iphone5 will come out in the summer, if I want to get the 5, can I sell my 4s and buy the 5 and continue on that plan? ps. Im planning to get the RM155 plan for a 12 month contract. Thanks Assuming that Maxis will practise the same procedure for those who are still in contract and thinking of upgrading to a new phone. You could continue on the current contract and prolong with the new phone contract. As example: you have remaining 4-month for your iPhone 4s and you would like to upgrade to iPhone 5. Your contract plan tenure would be: 4-month + the contract period of your iPhone 5 |

QUOTE(cuteguy5523 @ Dec 7 2012, 08:28 PM) i have question, pls answer my question, thanks ya It doesnt matter how long someone has been using their service. Advance payment is a MUST and the amount will be fairly divided in your monthly bill.my question is= i use postpaid many years ady,now i sign iphone 5 ivalue plans,so the question is,i need to paid advance payment or not?some ppl say no need So, total payment during the iPhone 5 purchase is the phone price following the package plus the stated advance payment amount. |

Invitation is selected by Maxis. Call CS is also no point as they select based on ROI but not everyone will be invited.
A lot of forumers here ROI but not invited. I dont know how the selection is carried. You can still buy from participate Maxis outlet on 14th but first come first serve basis. Invited to event confirm will get the unit. That is all the different. |

QUOTE(kwwong99 @ Dec 9 2012, 09:45 AM) Did anyone receive the offer below? I am kinda confused as the iPhone price i.e. RM1000 in my passbook is different compares the email sent by Maxis i.e. the standard RM1899. Anyone can confirm this? Yup. I received the error on details as well. Please refer to the confirmation email sent to you and you will notice the actual price is following the package price. Mine is wrong on the date which it stated to collect by today I have reported to them and now awaiting correction on the email. |

QUOTE(kuntakinte @ Dec 16 2012, 08:00 AM) Agree with the comments here about the i5 being a non event to me as well cos this version has to come across as the most unimaginative and overrated one yet, be it design or software. Well, good self point of view in a wrong topic.I've moved from 4s to s3 and loving every single moment of my android experience to the point that I've made an order for nexus 4 directly from US playstore. The continued innovation from google like photosphere, google now, and their top rated notifications is very refreshing. Android is now very smooth, polished, sexy and nearly as refined as iOS. I said nearly because iOS still takes the cake in its simplicity and seamless marriage of hardware and software. That's why it'll continue to attract folks like my wife, my parents or the genre that demands consistency of user experience. Android has come of age and gone mainstream with even the lesser tech savvy crowd. And with google showing more innovation in software prowess these days, apple has probably seen its peak if we don't see anything new in future releases. iPod nano and mini are fine examples of this post Steve jobs lacking in innovation era To others who have issues with nano sim, advise is to go to nearest Maxis centre. I had issue after not getting signal and visited to Maxis KLCC as I was queuin for another purchase. I brought my nano sim card serial number together and it has been activated immediately at the counter. No point to call 123 as CS I assume cant activate the sim as it is handled by a different department related to nano sim registration to database. Just share my experience to tackle this no connectivity issue of Maxis nano sim. Be guided that Maxis really has issue with the nano sim as I did not able to use data last night. It is unacceptable but they will not refund anything to me as they are in the midst of 'improving' the service. Sad. |

QUOTE(Reventon @ Dec 16 2012, 06:21 PM) Anyone has problem with call sms data pls proceed to your nearest maxis center. Dont waste your time call their CS at 123 . Keep making call from yest till now cant fix the data problem. Alas go to maxis center change a new nano sim. Fix everything in 5 mins. Correct. I did the same but some get it activated by calling CS. Visit to nearest maxis centre is the best approach.Mine is goy 3g and edge buy unable to surf at all. Nano sim problematic. |
