It's not really a rate plan but it's about Maxis.
I can't find any other Maxis Iphone thread.
So I hope my post won't get deleted.

If I purchase an iPhone 4s from Maxis now (rm100 plan) and iPhone 5 comes out in the summer, can I exchange with Maxis + top up?

How did it work before this?
Like people who bought 4 and then a few months later 4s came out.

If I'm not mistaken, in either Singapore or Australia they do offer that.

One more thing, how come a lot of people are selling Maxis iphone sets?
Do the people buying have to continue with the contracts?

I hope Im at the correct section since it's iphone and maxis related.

Let's say I sign up for the RM155 plan for 4s.
Then iphone5 will come out in the summer, if I want to get the 5, can I sell my 4s and buy the 5 and continue on that plan?

ps. Im planning to get the RM155 plan for a 12 month contract.
