QUOTE(Gill71 @ Feb 28 2012, 01:01 PM)
did anyone pay the fire insurance billed by the financier during construction period
*
I called up my bank to have it removed as i did not subscribe to any fire insurance during construction period. They will take it off and pay me back the sum on the following month.

To me, my understanding is that if the property DID indeed burnt down during construction or any fire hazards occurred, developer should be responsible to it, no? As the property (partly built anyway) is not under my possession, and have yet to pass CF. This is my first time buying a property, am i on the right understanding here? Hmm.. anyone to enlighten me on the subject?

Thanks. smile.gif

Was it written in law/policy/Loan Agreement that it was compulsory?
It's sad that they can simple say its compulsory (that was what told to me initially, until i argued ) without telling me why.

Fire insurance? By law they are not compulsory. However, lenders (usually with insurance subsidiaries) will make it compulsory in the contract. You can argue and contest as fire insurance is not required by law. But still, good luck. If not, look for other lenders.

No more DST phase, only left 3-sty, sm-d, bungalow, highend condo & commercial buildings. Thats about 60% left for development.
Good thing about so many bungalow n smd is existing dst price will be escalated when TTDI AI 100% developed.

Bro, what about the piece of land north-east of the master plan? Is it still allocated for DSlink or has it been changed already?

Yes, I agree. Was there today and Zirconia also almost sold out. The SA mentioned that all the remaining development will be launched by this year! Didn't get to see I&P as office was closed. But tend to like TTDI since G&G.

Went to Viola last Friday, at first they didn't allow us to go in because there were some who already collected the keys and having appointment for handover. Also , i called up Naza asking about the late charges. Apparently, the Naza generated their billing much earlier by which the bank has not disbursed the money yet. This explains the charges. Sigh sad.gif
