QUOTE BIOS 209 1.Add ASUS_HDD_PROTECT feature. 2.Update EC firmware 3.Update CPU microcode. 4.Support AUO matted surface panel. 5.Show serial number in main page of setup menu. 6.Add "Intel AES-NI" item in Advance selection of BIOS Setup Menu when Intel CPU support this feature. 7.Support hot-plug on USB3.0 port under DOS. Current Bios 205 works fine, there's no reason to upgrade to Bios 209 unless u have a fast drive on USB 3.0.

Just email Ken...maybe can get refund or something........

search for calibrate color at windows start menu, or go control panel, under display options
Added on January 21, 2012, 3:46 pmyou can adjust gamma, and rbg settings there
Added on January 21, 2012, 3:47 pmits not auto so you gotta either judge with your eye, or use an external camera to sample the white value to see what to adjust

hm yea... tricky hhaha. Set your white balance to a fix temperature (i think florensence lighting is erm.. 5000K?)... then take a photo? then use photoshop see what value? use a piece of white paper to let the camera's auto white balance set itself?

Try FN+C till u get the correct setting, i'm suppose ur on Soft Mode, which is why its bluer.

had to manually adjust using nvidia and display colour calibration i am on "normal" mode...but its blue-er when compared to my dell ips lcd, sony vaio S lcd and dell vostro...... so i guess its my asus screen having the blue-er tint so hard to manually configure the setting

G53SX has Samsung Panel which i find its normal.
