No le, they ask purchase invoice to confirm u are a genuine buyer, then bank in Rm15 rebate to u. Plus a rm10 evoucher in your email. Lol

which alienware are you planning to get?

Added on May 12, 2012, 12:35 amsadly the alienware new m14x at rm 5299 is using the nvidia gt 650m ..the g55 is using the gtx660m..much stronger than the 650m

and thats the strongest video card for the m14x

higher than that you have to buy the alienware m17x at rm 7799 higher..not worth it..

guess what im saying is the g55 is stronger than the m14x and cheaper too..and the m17x is much expensive than the g55..so your choice bro

ya, i know g55 spec is higher than alienware, n cheap than alienware.... but really no confident v asus product~~~

it's ok. buy what what u feel comfortable.. i'm using alienware.. so far so good.. specs not too good.. only replaced a hot pixel screen during warranty period.. door front service is good.

btw, my G55 still no news.. n diablo 3 is releasing next Tuesday.. how la?!!!

Over on the ROG forums they said it voids your warranty as well, but obviously the hdd and ram slots don't.

hi guys.. i have a tiny problem..my G55 I CAN hear clicking sound occasionally inside tha laptop..when starting the laptop the same sound appears.and when using it, sometimes it appears..any solution to this? i already done hd disc checking and im not using battery on this laptop..please help..thanks

Video please. It might be just mechanical hard disk spinning. I do hear minor clicks from my G53SX 5400RPM hard disks occasionally.

It is the dvd drive, when I open and close the dvd drive, the click sound appears..when I use any application that uses the dvd drive,click sound appears.,the click sound only appears once everytime I use the dvd drive, after that it works fine..any solution to this bro? And what video?

I also.heard.the sound from my g55 occasionally
