G army is growing,

The G55 looks promising. Thinking of changing. To the current owner of G55, does the palm rest area get hot/warm?

Awesome. Need to upgrade the ram then. 8gb seems like a good amount. A friend of mine who works in Lowyat Plaza tells me G55 will be officially available end of May or early June. Does seems to long to wait though..

Just got my unit this evening.. loving every bits of it.. it's a tad heavy but it's meant to be.. i'd get an ultrabook if i wanted something light.. added 8GB of ram on top of the stock 4GB for a total of 12GB.. still runs on dual channel even though Slot 2 is empty.. i have yet to have the balls to open my new baby up to slot in another 4GB piece to fully utilise the ram slots..

just played left 4 dead 2 for a brief moment and a round of bf3, really love the full hd screen and graphics, no lag at all!

money well spent..

whats the street price they are selling now? might thinking for installment.. just got back from oversea, now short of $$ , my old laptop could'nt handle the pressure of 7 hours flight... graphic card gone after two days arrived Malaysia...

1 negative point of the g55 is the subwoofer vibrates along..lot of vibration noise..need to turn off subwoofer when loud

Bro, the laptop vibrates very strong with the subwoofer on when I play heavy bass song.to off the subwoofer, go to the audio menu, uncheck the 2.1speaker box..thats all, now sound very clear..how about you bro?

Last night when playing games, the laptop also vibrates, lol, maybe because of the bass, and the music also very loud.
