QUOTE(ellimist @ Mar 1 2012, 10:16 PM) Ah that's the one with the speed capped right? Yeah guess it works, but not my cup of tea. Not a fan of slower speeds and carrying dummy phone around yes, speed is around 340kbps i'm using now on my laptop as i type this although not superfast, DiGi is very stable and consistent if you in a good signal area but agreed Maxis is faster and have more good signal area, at a price

Since i never do postpaid, i don't need to worry about all the choices and small print. Whichever plan you choose, the bill going to be more than whatever number the telco quotes due to contract stamp fee, service tax, itemised bil, clip, voicemail tax and etc. I've been with DiGi prepaid for 12 years and they still have some good deals. But they are not the same company that I used to admire so much for their innovation. Like you said other telcos have caught up and become more competitive. I'm waiting for Umobile to buy into DiGi and share 4G network in the future. Those two have some complementary features and would make a mighty alliance if you ask me. We'll see what happens. Meanwhile many DiGi users and staff have voted with their feet.

Exactly, this is a great shame as DChat is by far the best Customer Service channel that DiGi offers
I'm using IE9 and Chrome, neither acceptable to DiGi
Hopeless
By the way, has anyone tried using DChat from smartphone browser?

QUOTE(fat16 @ Mar 15 2012, 08:10 AM) GSM1800 used by digi is design for urban area. So unless digi got GSM/3G 850 band license digi coverage always suck. this is correct GSM 1800/1900 MHz networks around the world always have weaker coverage than 850/900 MHz olden times, TimeCel 017 and TMTouch 013 same issue as DiGi on coverage

QUOTE(SweetPuff @ Mar 20 2012, 12:05 PM) Hmm? From the looks of this sentence: It means that all renewals will be Rm48 after the promo period. Regardless of when we subscribe? That's how I read their info, and it would mean noone could get more than one month at the RM30 rate. Anyway, I've emailed DiGi for clarification.

QUOTE(Gmruleme @ Mar 19 2012, 06:46 PM) noooo... the promotion period is only until April, and after April the renewal will be Rm48?! the f **** DiGi confirmed to me the April date mentioned on their website was a mistake. The RM48/30 days applies only from 19 May 2012 onwards. Still bad though cos RM48 is not competitive rate.

RM48 cos that's da new price from 19 May onwards.
Still if you ask me it's quite possible DiGi will extend the RM30 fee for a longer time. Just have to wait and see first.

QUOTE(hewtwok @ Mar 28 2012, 01:41 PM) can i convert digi easy prepaid to digi best prepaid? Not directly under DiGi. The only way currently is to mnp out of Easy to another telco then mnp back to DiGi under Best. For that you'd need to use up your Easy credit first or else forfeit it.
