Well your parents can visit you every 2-3 weeks so if you need something just ask them to bring lo, unless you get sent across the sea.

number of clothings depend entirely on how hardworking you are to wash your clothes.

For classes or any activities outside your dorm, you must wear the clothes they provided. Only when you are inside your dorm, you can wear your own clothes (usually at night), so, you should prepare more clothes for sleeping and chilling off(singlets for boys, 'cause its freakin hot) instead.

Those clothings such as class uniforms and the track pants will be provided. SOCKS TOO. Laundry services will be commenced at least a few times per week, only for their logistics.

What you'll really need is just a few pairs of clothings, snacks, toothbrush + paste, body soap and shampoo, small lock and hanger. Since all of you will be spending most of the time outside, excessive clothing from home isn't needed(I would recommend around 3-4 pairs). Resting time, where you can freely wear your own clothings in the dorm only applies:
2) Before the break time(riadah) or announcement, which around late afternoon/ early evening, after class
3) Before the nightly announcement
4) Before you sleep

One pair of shoe is enough. Most of the time, you'll be wearing the casual sport shoes they provide for outdoor activities(strictly theirs). Only wearable when it comes to weekends or family day(Sunday).

Towels will be provided by PLKN logistics.

I'm not sure whether does the rules still apply, but instant noodles are not allowed, since the trainers are usually selling 'em for profit(LOL). Nevertheless, you can still sneak some in.

Rigorous activities? What about the trainers there? Are they friendly? Were M16 guns often used by trainees? And what about the facilities there?

Yes, usually announcement will be made for everybody in the dorm to pass their dirty linens. That situation didn't happen before, so I'm afraid that I can't answer it.

The only time you can chit chat with girls are during class, where trainees are assigned to different groups and breaks between classes. When it comes to free time before dinner(riadah), its another opportunity.

Usually, boys and girls are separated, including mealtime and camp gathering(berkumpul di dewan)

For Sundays, its another shot to take when families arrive to meet up with their children.
