hey guys.. and girls.. so I've been called to report in this January to a camp in N9... I think I should put the thread here instead of Kopitiam, besides, there are more students here.

Anyways, I wanna ask, how was your experience in NS? I got assigned to a rather bad place. Kem Titian Bintangor... popular with landslides, food poisoning etc. last year... a bit worried.. haha

If we go to NS we'll have to shoot the M16 rifle, right? How often do we get to do that?

From what I've heard from my senior , the end of the first month you can get to shoot it edi.

But theres a twist to that story...

You need to learn how to put back the rifle and to broke it into parts again. blind folded

disassembling a M16 is freaking easy... it's assembling it back blindfolded is that hard part... holy crap

i think not all camp are going to blindfolded. never heard it from my seniors. >.<

those guys in NS might haf watched too much HK movies..

I am an ex NS trainee and i don't remember needing to disemble the gun completely... all we were taught was how to attach the magazine to the gun...and how to switch the gun from single shot mode to automatic mode.. and how to aim..that's all about it...

Maybe differ for each camp , my senior last year got blindfolded and did all those stuff...

u go NS, first 2 months do nothing, no training (maybe got, but only a bit), everyday slack and listen to campaign (brainwashing campaign?), then the last month only start training and more NS activities e.g

oh wow. i didnt know tuition teachers get to go NS too.

My cousin said so too . lol .

U think u go NS comfirm Can Experience On Taking M16 meh? some Batch Do not Organize M16 activities..so depend on your luck LOR...If u go NS for experience Gun niah,then Not need go Lor...90% u learnt how to build up your POSITIVE chaRACter And 10% Just Army Activities NIAH>>>DOnt get the wrong INFO abOUT PLKN..PLKN organize with the AIM to Produce Quality Of HUman ..Not Go and Learn M16 nia..You better Go play your Gun la..hahaha

Huh where got such thing.. I join at 2010 but they only let me to shoot about 15 or 30 bullet..

ok..first i wish to give some opinion on my view and i have been undergo PLKN as well but totally different places.

and also im so called unlucky 1 as i do NOT HAVE CHANGE to TEST ON M16 WHICH IS THE MAIN Attraction For me To get INTO PLKN>>>>> However,i get to known character building is very important as it is the aim PLKN launched..so,not everyone have the change to play m16 and also i think all of trainer are in the attarct of m16 before going to the camp destination..i just don't want them to get regret of just playing m16 lor,,still have character building class(CB) class and many other activities toward practical mostly toward training our stamina lor.

For me, NS is sucks. My camp is at Kota Belud, Sabah.. Trainer is racist. Food is sucks, the fish is so hard until it can whack your head until faint. Less activity, but many ceramah. Morning still got class at 8AM teaching some stupid thing like kindergarden. Ask you to DRAW what you did yesterday like diary and play those stupid game. You won't get enough sleep! CONCLUSION IS, I HATE NS AND IT DON'T MAKE ME ENJOY AT ALL!

plus every morning we have to wake up at 5am although u're non muslim coz we will disturbed by them so we have forced to wake up at that time and 6am u have to go to the field to hear the jurulatih say what activities will conduct today and we have to stand at there for one hour until 7am and do some activities until 7am..before the activities is conduct we have to sing 3different song which is lagu negaraku,1 malaysia and khidmat negara song..after that 7am eat then after eat 7.30am like that we'll go toilet and get rid out of waste product from our body haha then 8amor 8.30am like that we have classes and it's conduct 5 day in a week,can u imagine we'll felt boring in that such class .just like kindergarden.we have to sing in the class before the class started and it's very BORING !!!

In short words...

Your screwed ..... For 3 months... . LOL

hmmm..as a matter of fact i gained a lot during my NS experience...
