Can a Dell AC Adapter (usual one) used at Alienware M17X for only surfing internet ,, do some project 's purpose?Is it okay for that charger to have my alienware m17x charged . ??
Not for playing game but just didn't like to bring that giant alienware adapter to go out

Bought a bag for my M15X as me Orion bag is in a bad condition. To those that are interested, they can try the Everki Titan bag. Quite big, can fit up to 18.4" Laptop. Has 3 compartments and quite spacious to put in your accessories to bring anywhere.

Question:

Which upgrade should i do next? SSD or GC?

If for SSD, I need to get the 512gb one as my normal usage of Hard drive is nearing 400gb average.

If for GC, is it worth it to upgrade the 460M? I heard that the 7970M can fit into M15X, is this true?

m15x can fit 7970M but according to NBR some need to tweak something

hmm for me yes.. 460M are 40nm technology and 7970M are 28nm technology.
460M only got 1700pts max in 3DMark while 7970M have around 5400pts ( check the benchmark )

7970M power are near to the desktop GTX570 =)

I open my Alienware bottom cover just now to retrieve a stuck DVD and here's what the bottom cover look's like in the inside. Obviously, the heat has taken it's toll.

Seriously any of them will do. You will have better price if purchasing from Putochip123 and other seller here. Yet if you insist in getting 1st hand, fresh from Dell MY, contact Viper88. He is basically like a SA as well, with much tremendous discount compared to retail.
