Does anyone have issues with their M14X's lid not lining up with the bottom when closed? Mine is like a couple of milimeters off to the left.

yeah, lot of that kind of problem, lid not align, keyboard not align. just call dell and they'll send someone.

there's two screws at the left and right side near the air vents. open both this screws and then slide the cover forward (or backward, i don't remember). Make sure you get yourself a good philips screwdriver because the screw can be a tight fix. cheap screwdriver may damaged the screw.

I open my Alienware bottom cover just now to retrieve a stuck DVD and here's what the bottom cover look's like in the inside. Obviously, the heat has taken it's toll.

I wonder if it's possible to replace the Display in M14X with the 14.0" (35.6cm) HD+ (900p) True Life Infinity Display like the one in XPS 14?

I'm not satisfied with the picture quality of my M14X right now. I wish to change the monitor to 14" HD+ Truelife infinity display, can or not?
