guys, i just reformat by m17x yesterday, and when i reinstall my gpu driver, it says that i'm using 6970m, whereas im supposingly using the 6990m gpu. and from the CC, i cant find any 'find for update' to update my driver. any of u guys got a good link to download the 6990m driver for m17x-r3 that i can use of?
i've downloaded some of the recommended driver from alienware arena and laptop review forum, but non of it compatible.
thanks in advance guys.. ^^

guys I want suggestion on warranty extension for my M17xR4. Do you think it's good to get ur warranty renewed? seeing that it doesnt cost cheap to do so. Wht are the chances of something spoiling by itself inside my laptop, seeing that complete care won't be renewed, only NBD will be.

I am using m14xr2 vertex 4 ssd, with latest bios and GPU driver. When I am playing Crysis 3 with all low settings, it becomes lag after awhile. Is this normal?

Normal? 60+ is a good temp because i noticed that the gpu will throttle after 67-68 C It seems that some user from the other forum is experiencing same problem as you with latest driver on crysis 3 Take a look hereProbably should try roll back to older driver and see which works the best. |

nvidia drivers are not optimized properly for crysis 3. you will notice it when you enter cutscenes that are focused on other humans. it dips down to 10s. when not focusing on other humans on cutscenes, it is normal.
