my brother hands so ithcy, he upgrade my newly alienware win 7 to window 8.. aiyoh... so many driver lost... anybody updated their m14x to win 8 yet...

I might be trying these 2 days. Currently upgrade most driver + application to support windows 8 now.

What driver he lost btw?

Does dell still sell M11x parts?

i got 4 driver kenot find..

i know one is confirm Bluetooth driver..
but not sure the others 3.. =/

Me, i decide to throw it liao. Wireless? alienfx? intel driver? Not much major driver pun.

u guys know that in the delk website theres the driver for w8..

AlienFX can be install after install windows component .NET 2.0 and .3.0 ...

INtel driver.. i not sure liao..

i think my m15x battery gonna die soon..
charging level suddenly from 44% to 100%...

Just finished upgrading the M15X with an AMD Radeon HD 7970M. So far it works like a charm!

today i was supposed to have my touchpad led replaced. However, when it was replaced and prepared to be switched on, it failed to switch on. The technician suspected it was due to the chip of the connecting the power button.

So he tried the old one and it failed apparently. In the end, he tried to switch on, tonnes of burn smell and smoke appeared.
The power chip just short circuited my motherboard and now i have to wait for tomorrow or next monday to have it repaired. Luckily the hdd is not affected. So what the f*** is going on with dell QC? why they did not check properly before dispatching the set? I already have 5 receipts of service from 3 months of usage. How can I complain? really pissed off at the QC, some of my works have to be delayed due to the files being in the laptop and i cannot switch on now.

any tips on complaining and get compensated? really pissed off

not sure though, cos i always plugged in so maybe later
can last 20minutes only lol

Dont understand how fast my colleague want his HP notebook to be fast bootup. I timed it at 1:40 sec is not very slow at all. If he want to compare with my m11x with SSD ofcourse cannot compare. One price at RM2.5k and one at RM6k... what you expect.

HAHA! 20mins battery life. IMBA weh.

The multiplayer should be more fun.
