QUOTE(RattleSnaKe @ Jun 24 2012, 01:19 AM) I finally decided to order a M14x but my browser window hung up at the moment I clicked "confirm order" after payment details has been entered. I have never ordered anything from Dell before so I am in the dark here. just call DELL straight and tell them the problem, that's exactly the same case with mine as well.Since I already clicked the "confirm" button, the transection has already partly taken place. So I got an text message from the bank telling me the 1st part , RM239 for the included TactX headset has been debited to Dell and I got the "confirmation email" that contains the shipping invoice. Unfortunately I still havent got the bank message about the rest of the payment and there is no Dell confirmation email. Hence I think I have ordered just the headset, and not the laptop. Is this because Dell hasn't calculated the price of my laptop and hence not debited the payment or is my order incomplete and the Bank hasn't received my order? This leads to another issue to me since I basically has just bought a TactX without the accomapnying M14x, can I cancel the order before the TactX is shipped or should I wait until I recive the TactX and the only return it back to get a refund. Some pointers are appreciated. now had been settled ady.. |

Thanks. since u're asking in this thread, i believe u already foresee what is your answer rite... but by judging from your usage, i would rather recommend the Macbook line, reason being is the color accuracy for their screen is above average for imaging purposes (as what u stated). but then again, all goes back again to your own preference though.. |

QUOTE(MrBuBu @ Jun 25 2012, 08:27 PM) i will first begin to say that the MBP aren't strong enough to support the intensive usage of such softwares but of course there are people (students mostly) who uses far lower specs and still get good feedback. But for better processor and a better graphic card. I guess that's where a gaming laptop can come in handy, or with that budget to get a MBP, maybe a desktop will be better.autodesk softwares for MAC tends to fall short in terms of productivity and available functions, probably due to the number of bugs that appeared. So i'd say autodesk programmes perform better in PC rather than Mac. Since Autodesk in Mac is fairly new. |
