SRH240's bass is strong? seriously? Then i'm sure u will find that DT231Pro has even more bass than SRH240. Shure SRH lines are actually considered as very bass-light headphones lol. They are more focused on clarity and details.

Just back from Jaben booth, auditioned the Shure SRH240, I find DT231 sounds signature suits me.

If you like a bit more bass => DUNU Trident. If you're more into vocals => DUNU Ares.
DUNU Hephades is slightly over your budget but is great for instrumentals and is more balanced than trident & ares.

For your budget the RE0 has always been crowned the king but the sound signature is more for analytical listeners. The Sunrise Xcape IE is also up there competing against RE0 with a sound signature that's targeted more to the market of average listeneres.

Otherwise there's Meelectronics CC51 and my Brainwavz M4 that would also perform well for your genre smile.gif

I'm confused ; but am gonna add more details

- My Rig:iPhone / Laptop
- Type of usage: Gaming/Casual portable listening
- File format:ALAC/FLAC/mP3
- Music genre:Pop (Kpop) - would consist of various genres , OSTs and instrumentals (Usually soft , slow - ex River Flows in You)
- Budget: <RM300
- Headphone/ earphone type:In-ear earphones (Unless someone can convince me to get a headphone instead)
- Other requirements (if any): The cables doesn't tangle much - easier to handle. Durable ; am seeing Brainwavz M4 so far.

Burn-in will give same result too. Don't listen to the one misleading u above. The problem is not on ur headphones. I assume u're running it directly through laptop's 3.5mm jack hole without a USB DAC. Laptop's soundcard has always been very very suckish just so u know. U should invest in an entry-level DAC if u are on tight budget, say GoVibe DAC which is around RM150-200 AFAIK.

Yeap, that's why I kinda sad for not taking Jaben's kind offer. sweat.gif However, does DAC alone can make it louder? I thought amp only makes it louder, because I got a Wolfson usb DAC, volume sounds more lower.
