DAC is not to make it lounder but will give you better quality output.

Amp can give you lounder because it will increase the output power, and better sound too.

BTW, I am still learning on this but what I know amp and DAC is two diff things, and the advice from sifu here to me is get an decent amp, then DAC.

Since its k-pop, DUNU Trident is a great starting point.

DAC won't make the sound louder, it will replace the original sound card of ur laptop and thus, make the sound cleaner without distortion. Since u have a DAC already, then just get an amp that has volume control like Fiio E11. Should be good enough for ur DT231pro as it is very easy to drive
