- Your rig - PC and Android phone(Sony Ericsson Xperia X8)
- What type of usage - Music and Gaming
- File format used in your source - MP3,FLAC
- Genre of music you listen to - A wide range
- Headphone/ earphone type - In ear or ear clip
- Other requirements (if any) - Should be quite durable as I'm bringing along everywhere and below RM100 if possible.

I previously bought Sonic Gear Nano Plug but they don't work well with my Xperia so I'm currently looking for one that fully works with my Xperia.

Hey guys, how do I check on headphone compatibility with my phone(Sony Ericsson Xperia X8)? Is there some sort of way to really tell if the headphones will work with full functionality?

Just as the above posts..

- Your rig : PC/MP3 player
- What type of usage : Gaming, movies and music.
- File format used in your source :Mp3 and FLAC
- Genre of music you listen to : J-pop, fantasy, dubstep.
- Headphone/ earphone type :Closed Type Headphone
- Other requirements (if any) : Comfort is highest priority, then quality. If can snatch both, it would be great!
- Budget[B]Around RM200, less is better i suppose..
- [b]Currently in mind
: I have no idea, dont wanna spend on something I dont have expertise in. Now i'm thinking PLANTRONIC Gamecom 377, Audio 370, Audio 500USB or Audio 650USB. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Thanks you very much for your help!  smile.gif

Heya guys, now deciding between Superlux 661 or Plantronics Gamecom 777.
Which would be better for gaming/music/movie purposes? And which would be more comfortable for long hours?

Hi guys. I'm looking at the Koss PortaPro and wonder how easy is it to break? From google, many people say it breaks but they did not mention which part. To those using this headphone, how's the durability of the headphone? blink.gif

Not really. If u come to Jaben we will demonstrate how hard the impact it will sustain. I can even throw the headphone on the floor in front of u.

Greetings,

- My Rig: PC with ASUS P7P55D-E Pro MoBo OnBoard sound card (VIA HD Audio Deck) & PS3, both connected to Edifier HCS2330
- Type of usage: Apartment, indoor either on bed or lazy chair. Priority from top to low: Movie, Gaming, Music
- File format: Movie: avi, mkv, mp4 (these files varied with 2ch or 6ch), Music: Lossy mp3
- Movie genre: Action, Sci-fi, Fantasy, CG (Expendables, Death Race, How to Train Your Dragon, Transformers to name a few...)
- Music genre: Classic, Acoustic, Anime soundtrack, K-pop, local online radio (MixFM & LiteFM)
- Budget: RM200-RM300++
- Headphone/ earphone type: Circumaural or Closed-back (something comfortable for long movie/gaming sessions & also good enough to block out annoying ambient from OUTSIDE apartment unit (eg: neighbor's kids screaming, horn/faulty alarm from carpark, mat rempit, etc that sort of noise tongue.gif )
- Other requirements (if any): Just pure headphone with NO mic please, coz I don't chat online. If possible, I would really appreciate it if can get shops (not LYT garage sales/street mart) to browse for the brand/model suggested as well. Klang Valley area only please.
- Extra questions: Since I'll be connecting the headphone to my HMC2330 amp, does having extra sound feature feature on headphone really matters since I can adjust bass & treble on the amp instead? If no, then is the Sennheiser HD 201 good enough? Also, does one actually can hear surround sound with these headphone from those 6ch movies? hmm.gif

Thanks in advance for the advices. notworthy.gif
