Hi guys. I'm looking at the Koss PortaPro and wonder how easy is it to break? From google, many people say it breaks but they did not mention which part. To those using this headphone, how's the durability of the headphone?  blink.gif

Not really. If u come to Jaben we will demonstrate how hard the impact it will sustain. I can even throw the headphone on the floor in front of u.

can anyone tell me the price of
k430
n
k402
and which is better in terms of bass?

Look for other brands if you are looking for bass. AKG :shake: is a nono for bassheads.

Guys, need some advices here...thx in advance~

- My Rig: phone (SG2)
- Type of usage: Mainly for Music
- File format: Mostly MP3
- Music genre: Various(pop,jazz,rock,classical..)
- Budget: RM 200
- Headphone/ earphone type: IEM

ppl keep talking about 'dr dre' headphone/earbuds these days... are they overvalued?
*
Yes, it is 0verva1u3d. You can look for the range of Denons, Hippos, Crossroads. RM200 for DrDre you can only get those pirated DrDres.

Still new to audio stuffs and the terms but I'll try to describe my requirements as best as I can.

- My Rig: Laptop, Teclast X19HD (expecting it by Thursday/Friday)
- Type of usage: Music only, mostly used for daily commute
- File format: 320kbps MP3s, few FLACs
- Music genre: Ranges from classical to dubstep and pretty much everything in between (currently into acoustic vocal and jazz)
- Budget: Less than RM150 (tight budget)
- Headphone/ earphone type: IEM
- Other requirements (if any):

i) Neutral or balanced sound is acceptable (love details but not listening fatigue). I prefer solid, tight, punchy and good bass impact and extension (not really a basshead so a bit less than average is ok, will be using X19HD bass boost when extra juice needed), good mids and treble (better than my Superlux HD681 (eq-ed), the treble peak is killing me).

ii) Comfortable, durable, multiple eartips (first IEM, no clue about my size), good microphonics. Prefer I plug over J or L but either one is fine
Thanks in advance guys. smile.gif

Newbie in headset area....wanna find something which is portable(better to be can fold)....Circumaural headphones....quite sensitive to unperfection of sound...so...dunno any 1 have any recommendation...budget around RM600+/-...no fancy colors n not vry giant size...help plz...
*
For the 'unperfection' of sound, the problem is you have to clean up your source and music format first. If you are very sensitive, it is unwise to get another "more sensitive" headphones, as are all the higher end headphones are more and more sensitive to music defects.
Playing it direct from laptop, from PC is a wrong way to do that.
The best is: get a decent DAC + decent headphone. Well you can consult me privately if you want.
