Isnt that consider as overpriced since all basic function also lose to a single core?

Boot up also lose , Camera also average performance, Screen under sunlight also not 100% visibility, Simple function lose to a single core, They pay twice compare to WP7  similar performance twice higher, Everyone around u using the same OS?, So expensive but still lag. For me i believe their purchase is overpriced. Then ppl come tell you that you need root it to experience NORMAL isnt that consider overprice? then full of bugs and must update your phone often isnt that overprice?

how about iPhone 4, single core only second value still between 1300 to 1700. Tell u the fact that android is the only Os that need dual core if not it will lag like hell, even s2 white version. Also experience lag. Do you wanna show ur friend u are using a laging phone. Wp7 n ios work based on history therefore no nid dual core, even now the iPhone 4s also stay on 512 ram n the new iPad (iPad 3) still run on dual core processors, quad core. Is on the graphic. The value is on the is not the spec. I currently using iPhone 4, Omnia 7 n hd2 root on ics

BUt then we go back to the same old argument, does the car make the man or the man make the car? because how I look at it, it's a MyVi against a VW. VW being a windows phone of course.

Feature wise, WP lose out to the other two. User experience wise, WP is the king.

For those who already a smartphone user, their purchase decision is pretty much fixed to to their niche, and it's hard to sway their decision.

The bigger pie is those who are converting from using feature phone to a smart phone. And to most of this group, being a first time user, they wont be gunning for great specs, but rather a phone that can at least replicate their ex-phone feature. If phone A and phone B can offer similar functionalities, why should I pay more?

Great specs doesn't translate to great performance. Specs is objective metric, but user experience is subjective. And you could always do better with greater specs if you already have a solid OS in place.

With WP7 & Tango, I still see WP will appeal to a very niche market. With WP8 & W8, well.. we'll see how it goes.

iPhone do not have competition they are only one have it and the price you are paying is for it. I know tried before playing infinity blade ii on iPad 1 the graphic still look great, and normal gameplay no lag except certain scene. The thing I like about iPhone the value is very hard to drop. Even it drop usually after a new launch and android it's totally unpredictable due to too many competition.

Your myvi vs vw comparison it's not that right it's like comparing a BMW 3 series vs a Honda accord.

Once u drove a BMW or most german cars and then drive Japanese car u will feel its cheap . Try drive at 170kph or sharp corner you have the confidence and your 170 feels like 120 when Japanese car 150 feels like 220 will fall apart anytime with the car shaking and extreme noise.

Back to topic haha

the more better comparison is like Camry vs Honda accord.

Honda accord is very spacious and inside the dashboard is like aero plane so many function -android

Camry in the other hand is simple, look good , have most basic function - wp7

well I am not quite understand of the lens and stuff...
just wondering if Carl Zeiss is really that good?

Btw, there is something that I don't really like about Lumia 800 which is its physical camera button seems to be flat and therefore it is quite difficult for me to press focus and shoot...
Hope they can improve on this for 900 smile.gif

Any headset with button for calls and such is fine. But for audiophile like me, I prefer my Shures. tongue.gif
