Wow...that is probably too good. Even I turn on EDGE & Wifi, it will probably last for 24 hours only (Standby 80% of the time)
My OS version is 7.10.8107.79 and I have install all the latest update. The only application running with background task turned on is "Amazing Weather".

May I know what apps you have that are using push and also your full charge capacity? I have 4 email accounts setup and the settings for "Download new content" is set to "as item arrive"....not sure if that is part of the reason also?

simple rule of thumb regarding phone power, power is consumed whenever there's transmission. When your radio is just on and sitting idle it doesn't take up extra current

Since you asked it to donwload new content as it arrives, what type of server are you connected to? If it requires constant polling instead of a lazy connection, that would mean it takes up more power.

If you really need to max out your battery, turn on the battery saver right from the start. Really give you a few extra miles with your battery.

tested my phone on 3G connection and put it in idle last night, and the result was awesome. Before I went to sleep at 10.30pm the battery level was stand at 83% and when i woke up this morning at 6.30, the battery level only drop 5-8%.

This is pretty much contra than last 2 night when i totally off my data (EDGE and WiFi) and went to sleep and it went down as much as 50% on battery level.

So weird.

Do you guys use your Hotmail (for email purposes) through your main Windows Live ID? I never tested it, but I use the Hotmail Exchange Activesync for my emailing purposes. Basically it's like making Hotmail have the same push function as Outlook. Not sure if it's better in performance or battery life, but it used to be quite a big deal back then during the Windows Mobile 6.x days.

To set it up, just add an Outlook Mail on your Windows Phone, the server is m.hotmail.com
