i phone 4 's home button not working normally, need to press veryyy hard...

There are many doing this repair, just look for a reliable one that has done 4S phones before. It can cost anywhere from 80 -150 depending on parts used and service provider.

apparently using the real microsim instead of using the cutout ones solved my problem tho. i think u should try that. cost me 20 ringgit but then, my line is not fluctuating anymore, for now

On some rare occasions, when ppl call me, i cannot slide all the way to answer the call it will slide until half then go back to the left. What could be causing this problem???

From my personal experience, it could be you are 'flicking' instead of actually sliding. You have to slide firmly until the end.

my 4s got software problem (not JB unit)
so i want to restore it, how to do that?
i already dload 5.0.01 ipsw.
- currently phone is on 5.0.01
- need to restore to the same 5.0.01 offline, since i dload ipsw already.
how can this be done?
can i restore to same 5.0.01?
restore on restore mode or DFU mode?

Cannot be done, you have to upgrade to 5.1 which is the latest IOS.

Can only restore to 5.0.1 IF you have the shsh saved via cydia.

Restore is the only option that i have i think.
so i only can restore to 5.1 i see.
i didnt jb, so i dun have the shsh u mentioned.

I taught iphone 4S 5.0.1 cannot be restored back 5.0.1 even if you have shsh saved.
Pls correct me if i'm wrong.
