Can be on and detected by iTunes? Try do a fresh restore. If problem still there even after restore,better send for warranty claim.

I taught iphone 4S 5.0.1 cannot be restored back 5.0.1 even if you have shsh saved.  Pls correct me if i'm wrong. |

Added on March 22, 2012, 9:00 pmmr wimpykid got some rgknse or gevey that can unlock 4s 5.1? i heard rebel4s can unlock 5.1, u have it?  For your 4S you can't restore back to 5.0.1. You can only go to 5.1. Apple stop signing for 5.0.1 already. R-Sim some claim can but never try before coz the baseband if different and i don't have a 4S with 5.1 to test.
