My sleep button rosak.
Will maxis repair it if it still under warranty?

Maxis will exchange a new refurbished set for you unless the damage is deemed as human fault.

All previous local iphone 4 16gb & 32gb are under telco warranty. Not too sure about the new one that apple sells.
My guess would be refurbished sets as well, since they were replacing ipads with refurbished ones.
Correct me if i'm wrong. smile.gif

If you get direct from Apple Store online, you can claim direct from Apple Malaysia.
They will replaced you with a brand new iPhone unlike local carrier offers refurbished but certified by Apple Singapore.

Don't think any claim comes with box. Just the phone with the outer plastic wrapping.

Bought a used iPhone 4 from 'ksking', recently discovered that the wifi only works in my house. It doesn't detect any other wifi networks anywhere else. Tried resetting network settings, restoring phone etc. Still nothing.

Would bring it back to maxis as an absolute last resort because the warranty has expired, but does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Yep, I did. I'm guessing the WIFI antenna is extremely weak since it doesn't even display the other networks. I can connect to my WIFI when I am in the same room as the router but once I leave, it sometimes disconnects too. Does anyone have any idea how much this would cost to repair?

Guys,

I got a new hotlink sim card, when I put it in my iphone4, it becomes cacat:

- when other ppl call me, got ring tone on their end, but my phone doesn't ring
- i can't make calls (it just hangs at "calling XXXXX") or send sms (always message fail)
- i can't input any service commands.

the sim card, i put into my fiancee's iphone4, no problem.
other sim card, i put into my iphone4, also no problem.

so ... any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix?

Hi, its definitely a hardware error. specifically motherboard IC. Not worth to repair as price for i3g second value is around the same price.

Current sim card that has problem is still old sim chip? Try change for 3G sim.
