Sounds like your WiFi chip is 'fried'. Check under Settings your WiFi. If it is greyed out, it's confirmed that, that is the problem. You have to then replace the chip.

If there is no outwardly evident physical damage and if your unit is under warranty, take it to the telco for RMA. Of course, do not tell them you dropped it.

From my personal experience, it could be you are 'flicking' instead of actually sliding. You have to slide firmly until the end.

Generally, if your WiFi is greyed out, it means the WiFi chip is 'kaput'. And you know what that means.....

 

Change to:
| Lo-Fi Version
0.0305sec    0.40    7 queries    GZIP Disabled
