Hi, im using iPhone 3G and in the settings the wifi is grey out and im not sure whether it's a hardware or software issue. Help me

Help, I have iPhone 3G that cannot detect wifi. Under setting the wifi setting is grey in color. How much does it cost to repair and where to send?
