My iPhone 4's battery is getting worse and worse. Last time, I only have to charge my phone everyday, but now, I have to charge twice a day. I charged until 100% at night, when I wake up, it drops to less than 80%. I'm sure most iPhones have this problem, anyone has a solution to this?

Why not dismantle the phone completely to clean of the moist? follow the guide on ifixit.com. Rice sure can absorb moist, just that I thought its not gona be efective enough.

iOS 5.0.1
Erm, the month when Maxis launched iPhone 4, should be October IINM. My dad's iPhone 4(running on iOS 5.0) also has the same problem. Even my old iPhone 3G had the similar battery problem after 1 year. I guess Apple did not invest enough on iPhone Batteries? sad.gif

IOS 5.0.1 itself is kinda heavy, it might consumes lots of battery. Have you OFF all toggles that are not needed? Adjust brightness and etc?

You might want to get your battery change if it does not help.

Hi people..

Anyway a friend of mine is having the same problem. Her phone can't send/receive messages. Can't make/receive calls. When someone calls, it rings on the other side but nothing on my her side. Weird thing is that while no texts can get through.. she gets texts from those 66XXX numbers. She said she can still surf using the phone.

After I told her to restore her phone.. it worked fine. But then a few weeks after, maybe 3 weeks after it happened again. So although the problem can be solved by restoring the phone.. it's kinda crazy to be doing it every time right?

Her brother and another friend said there could be a problem with the sim card. Maybe the person cut it wrongly or something.

It kinda make sense that it's a sim card problem as she can still surf using WiFi..

Any ideas people?

Thank you in advance smile.gif

OMG! I have exactly the same problem as your friend. I restore all settings and it works fine but a day later the problem came back sad.gif .

yesterday night im facing home button problem .. it cant respond suddenly.
Touch screen no problem .. i restart the phone and voice control came out. So i suspect something is pushing the home button.
So what to do??? search in youtube lo .. got a lot of technician hehehe!!~

i found 2 methods ..

1) Go to Settings and select passcode key > enter simple 1234 > lock the phone > unlock > select emergency call > dont call anyone press back > key in passcode > test your home button > if ok then deactivate pass code

2) Use ur iphone cable and plug into ur phone > gently push the cable upwards toward the home button and press the home button gently > test ur home button.

I did this 2 methods and my home button is fix .. dont know which 1 fix it .. hehehe!! Anyway .. it saves my time walk in to Service Center ..
And if ur Iphone out of warranty save ur $$$ la ...

Thanks YOUTUBE !!!~ smile.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi there !

I'm having problems with my wifi connectivity on my iPhone 3G. It seems that it can't detect any wifi signals. Anyone could please advice me on what should I do or where should send to repair or knows how much would it average repair cost? I appreciate your kind replies. Merci smile.gif

Apple yes, but we have got apple retailer here in Malaysia only. You could try approach Machines or seek for 3rd party repairman/shop to get it done.

Sounds like your WiFi chip is 'fried'. Check under Settings your WiFi. If it is greyed out, it's confirmed that, that is the problem. You have to then replace the chip.

Oh no, does anyone know where could i replace or at least repair these kind of iphone problems? The reason why I want to repair my iphone wifi is because of I want to surf the internet and use internet required apps. I feel like going for a plan which provides me unlimited data usage. So far I've found celcom giving out unlimited data usage for RM18 per week tho.
