Just a couple of months after single-core Nexus S was released, here came Galaxy S2 running the same OS but with a much faster dual-core speed.
Would it be regretful to buy dual-core GNex now, knowing a similar 720p, button-less ICS phone with a much faster quad-core is just around the corner?
I am already aware of Tegra 3 since Q4 2010, when most people are still drooling over Tegra 2 phones, some aren't even aware of dual core phones yet, and here I am, counting the days before GNex is in my hands

Simply put, (this is going to sound fanboyish, but that's how I see it) quad core CPU is powerful, no doubt. But if its not in a Nexus phone, why bother?
What practicality does a quad core CPU have over a dual core now? To boast higher benchmarks? If that's your kind of thing, sure go wait for it.
Unless there are apps out there that would fully utilizes the quad core CPU power, there are no reasons you should feel regretful getting this phone now (or any other good dual core phones in fact).

nop.. nexus s was release in 2011, same goes to galaxy nexus.. so its 2 nexus in 1 year
its actually launched late December, but Msia is having it late... even then its almost a full year.
But then again, Nexus phones are not base on 1 year 1 phone, but every time when there's a new version of Android that Google wants to show off with.
