when i bought my nexus s there , quite good the service.

If Apple can do it with accessories out before the phone launches, wonder why Samsung can't do it. Hell, in Apple's case, the accessories kinda hints to what the next model of iPhone looks like. Sigh......

3GS to 4. Some of the confirmation of the design, in addition to that incident at the San Francisco bar, are the accessory makers who prematurely released their cases before the model launches. China brand manufacturers are actively doing this.

Not really, iPhone 4s antenna design is on top of the silent button.
So those buttons on the side has slightly moved down.

You will need a new designed case for iPhone 4s else there's no side buttons for you
if you thought of using back iPhone4 case.

Finally...getting mine. Will post the picture later. Next Target is Transformer Prime. Someone told me that Maxis had terminated the contract with Samsung-No wonder they didn't offer the SG Note when it was released.

It's kinda sad isn't it, that I have to resort to seedy crappy stalls at the back side of LYP to get a case that HOPEFULLY fits my Nexus? Even the Note which has already launched, you're stuck with gel/TPU back cases without options for those who wants other options instead of these crappy silicone gels and resin cases.

those are due to leaks... and that's because the iPhone are so popular people would risk breaking the NDA.
On the Nexus side, only Android / tech enthusiast cares, if at all.

The more popular the phone is, the more accessories will be made for it. Its simple business sense.

they are a bit different in button placements... but most cases will still work for the 4S

Wouldn't the Galaxy Nexus have the upper hand then, since everyone, instead of just the insiders, knows the dimensions of the phone and therefore, can design cases that fits it? Case makers are taking the wait and see approach here compared to iPhone.

Otherwise, why don't Samsung make their move then, create their own line of cases and covers, and make them available the moment the phone launches? In the case of the Note, avid users had to resort to buying online instead of buying them off Samsung local stores here. OR is Samsung anticipating the purchasers of their phones to not accessorize? Or is there any truth to this article?

Couldn't be coz Samsung themselves sell their official accessories, but why limit their availability to UK or online only? No confidence in their audience to buy one?

to elaborate on my previous statement..

iPhone is a sure hit, people buy it because it is an iPhone... iPhone 4 is the single best selling phone in the market in its time, and the 4S is doing even better. Case manufacturers don't have to think twice to invest in iPhone's case/accessory market.

Nexus on the other hand, if you're not an Android user/Tech enthusiast, you wouldn't even know about it to begin with. You can ask anyone out there. Even if they know the name "Galaxy Nexus", they don't know / don't care the story behind this phone, its just another Samsung flagship to them, and most Samsung buyers have already bought the S2, they're not going to buy the Nexus, especially when people look at the specs of the Nexus, 5MP vs 8MP... they concluded S2 is the better phone. In short, its not easy to sell the Nexus.

Hence why manufacturers are contemplating to make accessories for this phone. Especially Nexus, which is known for its bad sales since Nexus One.

Still doesn't explain the reason why Samsung not bringing in their own official accessories in, in case of the Note for example. In the case of the Nexus, there aren't any at all. I guess Samsung don't think Nexus owners wanna accessorize. If not a case, at least the same pouch they made for their Galaxy lineup.

They do make accessories for the Nexus, just not in Malaysia, but in other regions they have been selling them. Reason is... (obviously) its not officially launched in Malaysia yet.

If you're talking about the reviews, from what I've read, its mostly because every other part of the phone is so good, the camera being "good enough" isn't in the same league, hence the complains.
