hi, due to some shipping issues that balthsar had mentioned to me , its kind diff to sent into malaysia, im not inteding to sell those that r with me now but i sure can bring in any time form my frined who breeds them as he still has ard 80-100 pcs at least, selling at normal markte price 15USD EA excluding shipin.. well if you can slove the shipping problem then jus drop me a pm.

balthsar ,

hi there, i guess i need sbetter picture of yr australis's sides to know, the pic that you posted can only see the tail wahahaha

IMO the substrate that you r using for yr australis kinda funny , are youusing some kind of dark shiny hard stuff? i can see some is sticking on yr australis body if im not worng, better pic of its enclosure because if i guess correcty that substaret is not very suitable as it make cause the mini claws on the legs of your autralis to break due to the lose and hard substart when the adult heavy australis walks sad.gif

Tats a nice bark scorpion you have there.

From the looks of it, somekind of Centruroides sp juvie. That long blady tail usualy belong to them centrus. Could also turn out to be Tityus sp. Sorry colorationvery vague so i cannot comment.
Try to dry up ur substrate a bit and add a piece of vertical wood for it to climb.

BY THE WAY, FIRSTLY U SHOULD KNOW WAT YOU ARE BUYING INSTEAD OF BUYING FIRST AND ASKING LATER. YOU NEED TO READ UP ON MATERIALS AND CARESHEETS ALSO SO THAT YOU CAN PROVIDE THE BEST HOUSING FOR THEM.

Yo walton.
The black substrate are exotera black sand...trust me, it dun look good on the australis. I got another packet of JBL desert sand which is much finer and softer. I can see the S.maurus swimmin in it laugh.gif About the tail thingy, the last picture is of my male australis so i guess u won't see any inflation on the side profile tongue.gif
Will try to catch a pix of the white spot on the females membrane.

About the substrate again, i was thinkin of watering it to harden it up so that the bugs can burrow without it caving in on them...

Hmmm...looks like it...Isometrus maculatus. Did not receive the info needed earlier on so can't make a correct id.

Sp ?
Oh i type wrong, its supposed to be spp. forgot wats the full name to that abbreviation blush.gif

Sp is for species...usually if a species is not identified or yet to be named and id-ed, they usually tag the abreviation sp. to the main family name. For example, Lychas sp. lor.

hi, im very sure if you get it in malasia WC its definaley Lychas scutilus, hehe im very sure and its a male .. funny things is that i was about to post some post about them smile.gif

Just yesterday i was dragging my self to feed my ever growning numbers of scorpion. felt like a pain in the ass for the first time after so long, feeding of so many scorpion and maintanience for like 2 hours. after which followed by a bad headache :wall:

but when i woke up today, the hobby strikes on me again, like a drug addict. below is wat happen when i went to check on my couple lychas scutilus 1 hours ago.... it spikes my addiction for the hobby all over again....... :}

suspecting shes goona moult i took a pic to show before and after, rise the humidity and took out all uneaten food.

finally i can mate her with the male you see the picture, ive since remove the male temporoily so that hopefully they will meet and mate when i reunite them prob a week or two later, ive mated the male with a similar size female (like the size of teh freshly moulted l.scutilus) before but the female died soon after, she was pretty old sad.gif so i hope this time it works out!

also.........
jus manage to snape some other pictures.... pizza party...
