Vor Saga FLX 1.3 AT Solid White tongue.gif

Received & have being driving my new FLX 1.3 for 2 days now. Very smooth I must say, no loss of power at all when climbing slopes etc. My only 2 concerns so far would be the:

1- Same jerking issue every FLX owner has been complaining about but only happens during very bad traffic jams. Guess would have to wait for my 1st service for them to fix the new part (coolant or sumtin?) for it to be solve.

2- Sometimes when shifting gear to N but meter says its on R, any solution to this? Doesn't happen often but quite dangerous...

All in all, I am very satisfied with the car for the price I paid. Nothing much to complain but yeah thumbup.gif

and ahhh....those coolant that they add/change for u...is not really coolant..its just water with colouring...so basically they're pouring water..no different
your coolant is like RM14 per bottle
REAL coolant is RM40-45 per bottle

Alignment I do outside RM10 per wheel, on-wheel balancing also RM10 per wheel. What's the tyre patching for? Alignment and balancing normally do every 10k km unless you really abuse your ride.

I'm also suspicious about the engine flush thing, though I'm not sure because it has been so long since I do regular maintenance at Proton SC.

1. I dont think your batch is affected with the clutch pump issue. There are two ways to eliminate the jerk during traffic jam;

a) the fuel saving method- slot into D and let the car gradually roll itself and use N to stop the car

b) the fuel wasting method- slot into D, let the car roll a bit and step a bit on the throttle (1,500rpm) then use the brakes to stop.

2. I think most probably the car is still new and the gear lever is quite tight. If it still happens after a month of ownership, I think you are facing with "sticky" gear issue like one of the members faced here.

I'm not an expert or anything, but here's some advice if you're interested. I took a look at the receipt and honestly, a lot of those things are optional.

You don't have to engine flush.
You don't need to buy the screw camber to align your wheels. Your car already has them.
Performing alignment at 5k is unnecessary unless you notice alignment problems yourself.
The amount they charged you for alignment labor as well as the camber is absurd.

I have serviced at Proton SC everytime since I bought my BLM until now. Servicing at Proton SC should never be so expensive unless it is a major service.

On a lighter note, at least the guy apparently did a good job, since you did report your car is feeling much better and have no complaints about your ride after that. So it wasn't all rubbish.

I've attached a service schedule with estimated costs. Please bear in mind though, prices have gone up slightly, since this schedule is a bit old.

whyTF did they do engine flush?
can't just simply do engine flush...bad....somemore you're just 2nd service
screw chamber price...tyre patching all u been conned...your tyre didn't pancit ma...why need tyre patching
i think he just simply add into the list while he didn't do any of those at all
and no no need every 5k la.....do it every year
