i did think of it,how possible can the foam get lost because its quite tight in space, thats why i ask you guys..

but i did check on some other SAGA FL WUxxxx & BLM on the road side, they do have the foam.

my car was May 2011, i guess some model doesnt come with the foam.

the foam act as a support between fuel tank & bumper, my assumption its like moveable when you push with your hand on your rear bumper at the centre.

i guess they changed it when i claimed new steering rack for my 3 years old car...its using proton ATF fluid...i cant remember how many liters..maybe 2L ++

anyway i got some info...

QUOTE
Change it as often as you would change your engine coolant. If your car requires "long-life" variety Power steering fluid then you have to change it every five years or 100,000 miles. For others, the change interval is every three years or 50,000 miles

Thanks for the info...

Becos i quite service at Proton SC since 17k km, so i din follow the booklet...
I remember power steering, manual tranny and brake oil no need to change so early.

But last week i went to change engine oil, the worshop told me my power steering feel heavy, oil change colour adi, manual tranny oil also...he even told me that the accessories belt is due also...nvm heard that before... rclxub.gif

I doubted becos the steering is heavy in nature, manual tranny can till 60k should be OK,accessories belt should be change with timing belt to avoid extra workman ship...

Nvm, i think i will go to change tranny oil and power steering oil @ 60k mileage, now no money... moneyflies.gif

Simple , just go spare part shop buy those oil. Cheap only. Since u not going back proton to service your car, and for the belt, Campro only Run on 1 Belt.

there are two belts...timing belts should be serviced around 80K

but for accesories belt, some call serpetine or multi-rib or v belt..there is no schedule when to service it...but most ppl advice to inspect the belt...if there is any crack or etc...

serpentine belt
