QUOTE(AMenzZ @ Dec 6 2011, 04:51 PM) Drum brake from what i noe is more simple than disc brake in term of precision and construction. This is the 2nd car i drove after Kancil at learning school... But my experience is with a 35years old Datsun 120Y, i can change the brake shoe myself without a hiccup. take the wheel off>knock abit the housing to take cover off> unscrew a few screw, spring> off the pad go... Nowadays drum brake im not sure, havent try get my hand dirty on it. Mechanism shud be same i think.. i learnt drum brake also from the problematic datsun 120Y rear brake, pump always leak. From what i saw, simple structure only... Added on December 6, 2011, 8:45 pm QUOTE(mar5690 @ Dec 6 2011, 08:26 PM) is that true? cause from what i read from others, they say noise insulation would be better.. Can block some amount of noise, consider its price, i will say worth it...is it worth to install it? This post has been edited by coolkwc: Dec 6 2011, 08:45 PM |
