The China Press reported that farmers received smses from buyers that if their BHs are equipped with RFID, the buyer will pay higher price of RM2100 for their BN, whereas BHs without RFID, will get lower price below RM1k.

Who is the supplier of RFID for BH ??

Sifu WW I need your advise regarding my BN. Recently when I sold some BN to a dealer he said my BN has 'lumut'. Then he chop my BN price 99.

I know the meaning of lumut in Malay is mold, basically he said the problem is there are tiny black dots along the part on BN where the nest sticks to the wooden planks.

But I asked around some ppl say not mold but because of fleas in the BH. So my question is, what is this lumut and how do I eradicate it?

I've been using Fendona since a year ago, every 2 weeks I spray. So if that's what you're saying shouldn't have this problem ma.

Realy need not to calculate as we all know the reason why our nests have undervalue. this is all due to the fact that we cannot export and that the consumers in China still pay highly for EBN,

If the consumer price drop at thwe same ratio, then we do not complain but the price remain and the ordinary people in China cannot afford to take EBN. WWith thew present situation, there is no way that the price can be increase as our nests still cannot be taken out of the country,..and all they are taking are processed nests and our plants can only produce less than 10% of EBN produced and the rest must be smuggled out of the country and into China....otherwise, where are all the balance of 90% go.

I hope that the price at China drops so that more ordinary Chinese can afford to eat EBN and if the demand increase, there is no way for the middle men to manipulate the price as we shall have more China buyers coming to satisfy the hunger of the chinese people.

I just happened to stopby at this thread and i had a Bh which i setup 1.5 years ago which i want to sell. I would just want back rm 40k for it - the setup and the premise itself. Just trying my luck see if any one would pick it up from me.

Any price update for birdnest in Sarawak. I have around 5 kg of AB nest from Sarikei BH.

I heard someone saying that nowadays even if you want to sell your raw BN, you need to give a registration number of the BH that it comes from.

Is this true??

A person that owns lot of BH. He says that big BN factory in Puchong will buy raw EBN paying up to $1800 to $2000, but the EBN you need to provide the registration number of the BH it comes from.

First time I heard something like this too.

I shall no longer provide buyer contacts as there were buyers now bypass me for  reason maybe known to many.
As only few buyers that offer better prices sooner or latter,
they will also follow others and quote lower price as many BH owners are ready to sell on buyer's price.........
sad sad tales.

Selfish you may call me but I need to keep what I still have without someone undersell at lower price to him and affecting my next transaction. Maaf lah.

A friend just return from China and told me that in a famous outlet the price for EBN is from 10K to 60K Rmb....
and most of the buyers here are only offering Rm1700 for the super A white........and most buyers don't even want to buy dirty EBN which I am glad to be able to sell all big dirty brownish EBN at Rm1350 half cup and Rm950 corner last week.

So, if anyone has relative in China wanting to venture into the buz can try but difficulties are that the market are mostly control by TeoChew Clan in GuangDong and don't take kindly to other Clan venturing into their territory. Maybe Kakinan ((Teochew) here may have better luck in China, hahahaha. Another news is that there are many forwarders that will help you to export EBN to any part of China at approximate RM350 or less and will refund you in full if anything happen to your EBN during the transportation....even if there is any shortage according to the horse's mouth.
