If heheheehe sound longer then putting relay wont solve it. Electric current is flowing but the spark plugs doesn't ignite hence hard to start..

Check your plugs first and clean all the carbon off.

Relay only needed if you crank but not enough current to turn on the starter. You will hear tik tik sound.

in the morning usually easy to start.. not sure why. but when I finish class.. in the afternoon, a bit hard to start.
I heard the engine cranking, but I dont think got spark..

no spark engine wont crank lol.
it could be spark not sufficient (relay will help, as Notoriez mentioned, worn spark plugs could also contribute, or badly: aged or worn out/tuned/timing distributor), or your oil is getting heavier (longer than desired OCI? heavy viscosity engine oil? carbon build up?)

the way you claim afternoon harder to start, could also be your throttle body having carbon build up. O2 density is a bit lesser in the hot noons, it *MAY* contribute to harder start up/inefficient engine performance especially when your intake/throttle body is bogged down by carbon build up
in this case, can look up for intake/throttle body decarbon service smile.gif
(i highly recommend elton aka thundergod_cid)

anyways:

Last time I did my starter relay (BOSCH unit), parts + labour, RM30 only in Ipoh... Where got so expensive one? It's just a simple redirection of wiring only...

i remembered doing mine for rm40-50 at howie's lol
maybe ipoh good price? then again i also did other things and he just count the labour along.

regardless, it is a rough estimation and if whoever is doing it prepared that amount of money, they'd have more than enough to get the job done smile.gif

oh ok, reason i ask is ive heard alot of people saying if brake hose no issue, better dont touch, as aftermarket/3rd party can introduce a lot of unwanted problems
