have you added a starter relay? (and yes common for proton)

if you feel like splurging, after starter relay you can consider a new/recond high speed starter (like those for perdana, minimum also rm200++)
i am using that, and cranking the car feels AWESOME thumbup.gif

most accessory shop (refer the sound proofing thread in penang in the ICE section) offer starter relay add on services, price should be well under rm100 (above rm50 though IINM since the relay itself cost rm20-40, then cabling + labour)

isnt that why you should use better oil more?

if rm70 budget, just use any mainstream mineral oil you see fit.

Shell Helix Oil is the only motor oil Scuderia Ferrari recommends. That’s why Shell Helix is inside not just every Ferrari Gran Turismo car that leaves Maranello, but also every Ferrari Formula One car at every race.
