Hello everyone, I need some help here. I got my Galaxy S+ last December, and it keeps abruptly rebooting. When it does, there is a purple line that appears at the right side of the screen, and the screen flickers too. Restarting the phone fixes this issue, but it is not the only problem I have with my phone.
The phone also couldn't read my SIM card (sometimes). Usually this happens when the phone reboots, together with the screen issue mentioned above. At first, rebooting the phone solved both issues. But recently, the phone still couldn't read the SIM card after repeated reboots, and as you can guess this gets pretty frustrating. I sent the phone back for repairs twice already, and both times the issues still persist. Placing a piece of paper between the cover and the SIM card slot seemed to solve the problem with the SIM card, but today the problem reared its ugly head again. I'm pretty sick of sending the phone back for repairs again, as it takes a week or more for it to return, yet nothing was fixed. I pretty sure that this is a problem with the phone hardware. Should I just ask for a replacement phone? |

using the S+, totally standard out of box with some settings here and there, screen brightness max, run mobile data on whole day, some calls, a little bit surfing and FB, lasted from 9:30am to about 1am, and that also i wanted to drain the battery to cycle it, so i watch the whole Lee Chong Wei vs Lin Dan Korean Masters on Youtube until the end, then only it shut down when out of juice...
good battery life... This post has been edited by andyng: Jan 12 2012, 09:32 AM |

QUOTE(amdhunter @ Jan 13 2012, 04:06 PM) Over The Air. I think he means if it's official update or something since I updated mine with Samsung Kies to 2.3.5. Well, gonna flash it when Cranium RC8 is being released though. My phone is lagging badly even when I'm not doing anything at all =/This post has been edited by mccy118: Jan 13 2012, 09:27 PM |
