just want to check with u guys, to enter the recover mode for rooting purposes

- Switch phone off
- Press Vol+ and Power Button
- as soon as the "SAMSUNG" appears release both buttons

Just do the above method right? But,i tried several times, and my phone still cant enter the Recover mode. I read on first page of this thread, Annoymous1234 uses Easy Reboot Recovery.zip to enter the recover mode, but i cross check with xda forum, the guys said it was an old way and stated there DONT USE IT.so,i just need some help here please.

**Problem solved...Press both button as hard as i can and then eventually my phone reboot into recover mode.Just rooted my phone already...Thanks!

ps the easy reboot recovery still can use as i use it more than once, no idea why they say not to use it

hey guys...jz wanna confirm whether the samsung galaxy s2 battery fits in s plus?

my phone is not detected by kies when i connect it using the usb cable. is this the problem with the version as i'm using the latest kies.

it show me current connection not supported.

anyone had this problem?

So,upgraded to 2.3.5 using rom I9001XXKPG
Is this rom good or 2.3.6 rom much better? Coz my friend tried 2.3.6 already and he said,some apps cant play on it.

I use papago and the covered area very wide.I mean,even lorong at my hometown also shown on papago.Not like sygic,just has main road only

Just got an S+ for my dad...brand new...

discovered a problem...3G or H data line keeps dropping and coming back, on and off...i am quite sure is not reception problem at my location bcos my own Note and my wife's S2 no problem...

keep trying to find some error in settings cannot find...all seems correct...even uninstall juice defender still same.

any pointers? android ver 2.3.3, brand new set a few hours old...everything stock standard.

Added on January 10, 2012, 3:23 amOh amd i noticed 3G/H connection remains if idling even on browser...but once click here click there, line will get cut off suddenly. no 3g, no H, no E, no G...have to wait for it to come back amd get reconnected.

just root my sgs+ ... after rooting, what should i do?

same like me, rooting but dont know what exactly root is...hahaha..then,take one step further by flashing my device...so far,okay lar using 2.3.5..

mine just bought brand new is android ver 2.3.3...

what is the latest version for S+ that is available for OTA update? i check check OTA, but no updates so far...

u can try use kies or odin for updating ...

im using 2.3.6 everything is ok.. but its custom tho.
i also use 2.3.5 before and everything is fine. battery life was quite good also.

have not learned those ways yet...still very new to android phones... will search youtube for video on how to do it...i'm not a tech-savvy kinda person...

the S+ is for my dad...i myself have a Note for just 3 weeks, just updated OTA to 2.3.6. i do find the 2.3.3 in the S+ rather different, not as nice as 2.3.5 on my note, so wish to update is to at least 2.3.5...

i having problem with my samsung 19000...it keep hang when i go to whatsapp or massage...then it need to restart...is there any other way to solve the HANG

hi, just want to ask any good video call app for S+ ? mine is stock 2.3.3 unrooted, tried with skype but the video call not really working, only can see my own camera image during call

i think u hv to go into the menu and allow to see video once the call is connected if not mistaken.. i'm using 2.3.5 and hv no problem with video call on skype
