QUOTE(warpats @ Nov 24 2011, 08:44 AM) But it was unfair right....it should be some way todo so....still searching this is because samsung introduce this internal usb storage and the external sd card... the old path to access to the external sd card has been replaced by the internal storage.. so those app when it move, it just moved to the internal storage instead of external sd card.. once i saw some one manage to modify some file inside the phone to change the path of both storage but it needs rooted...

Pls add me to the owners list, just got myself the sgs+ today Added on November 26, 2011, 6:59 pmQUOTE(Dannyl @ Nov 26 2011, 04:31 PM) Hi guys, 1) does this phone run on EXT4 by default? 2) any GPS problems like the earlier SGS and SGSL? Thanks i think it's by default ext4... as for gps.. i haven't updated my phone to latest firmware.. but no problem locking my position with wifi on using google maps.. i can say very fast lock... not sure will it have gps problem after update.. still wait for the battery to flat and make it full charge before update.. QUOTE(amad^77 @ Nov 27 2011, 04:20 PM) finally i manage to update my sgs+ firmware to 2.3.5 after 3 times trial using kies.. actually thinking to use odin if my third try failed too.. tried 1st time failed... then 2nd time i cancelled it at half way.. cause the download take too long to finish.. end up update through Odin.. i think it's much faster and better..

QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Nov 28 2011, 07:56 PM) extract and replace back the 2 apk files only. the rest u can ignore it replace the two apk files.. but my battery icon still stay as original .. nothing changed.. just found out the files is not replaced... already mount the /system as read/write.. but can't paste the framework.apk in it.. strange... using file expert to do all this.. and end up force close.. and phone hang.. try to take out the battery.. and phone stuck at boot .. end up flash using odin again... i tried to put in another sim card to this phone and the phone just won't boot up.. keep booting n stuck at the samsung galaxy s i9001 screen then restart again.. but if i put back my own sim card then it just boot up fine... i do installed androidlost..is that one causing problem? Added on December 1, 2011, 9:25 amQUOTE(mynewuser @ Dec 1 2011, 06:27 AM) @annoymous1234 had you perform any backup of your stock rom? any suggestion how to do it? i think you need to root n backup using CWM.. standard recovery come with phone don't hv backup option... but u still can download the stock rom from samfirmware.. so i think there's no need to perform any backup to the stock rom.. correct me if i'm wrong..
