Technical Question 2

Is it true that its not recommended to use SRAM chains with Shimano components?

My stock cassette is Shimano, chain is SRAM, chainring was Shimano (now Lespes), RD is SRAM, FD is Shimano, shifter is SRAM. rclxub.gif

not a problem. but "marketing" say the shifting will be less smooth...
but i say bullshit...
ive been running XT cassette with SRAM chain with no problem... =)
but SRAM chain more expensive than Shimano chain.

SRAM (YBN) is a bit soft. Easier to snap.

The more you buy...the more you ride cool2.gif ekekek

I notice SRAM stuffs are not as durable as compared to Shimanos ...but they have better, racier feel to it ...and of course more expensip

Shimano are more smoother and durable ...tahan lasak

This is what people tell me la...but true or not ...I tak tau...

the racer feeling makes you ride more, hence wear ,tear, damage % also increase.
