Lady watch?
My wife got this Ball Lady Engineer, poorman DJ, and happy with it.

ck, how much did the Lady Engineer cost you? Thinking of getting a Ball for the missus, either ladies model or the 40mm engineer models.

Anyway, nice watch.

Guys... afterall the research, i found 2 watches below.

Oris Skeleton / Tag Aquaracer Calibre 5.

The price are almost the same, which one should i go for?

I had this very good deal of tag from sg wang watatime 25% rebate which surprised me but i still need to consider about it.
*
Both designs are quite different so can't comment aesthetics-wise. In terms of brand positioning, go for the Tag.

If you like skeleton watches, perhaps consider Epos?

There's a discussion here comparing Oris and Epos - http://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/oris-vs-ep...ter-446975.html

Actually a digital watch is easier to maintain than a mechanical automatic watch. smile.gif

Digital watches are practically maintenance free other than battery changes or water resistance repairs. If something else is damaged, it would probably be cheaper to replace them.

Can you imagine someone wearing Lady Gaga's MTV outfits all the time?

That is why it's called Haute Horlogerie (not to say it looks bad like Gaga's dresses).

There is a history behind Steinhart and Debaufre. If not mistaken they used to be the same company (Debaufre was for the US market) before they split.

If you're interested, there's a Steinhart GMT dive watch for sale here: http://www.malaysiawatchforum.com/index.php?topic=5309.0

Naka7a, that is a picture of the 6900, no?

I am partial to the 5600 classic design, but for a real tool watch I'm itching to get Riseman or Mudman with digital compass.

anyone would like to recommend any good aviator watches? I like Junkers or Messerschmitt.

On the other hand anyone here wears Orient automatic watches?
*
Laco for history and affordability - you have a choice of Miyota (Citizen movement) models and the more expensive ETAs. Also can consider Steinhart and Christopher Ward (both Swiss made). Personally I love the Nav B Chrono.

My Orient racing watch has one of the more striking dials among my rotation.

Don't think there are many Seiko 5 ladies models out there.

Orient has some pretty nice open dial models for ladies. Around RM500 after discount.

i have checked with Omega saleswoman , and she said the cost of renew/extending the warranty are within 2k plus ...for me , it is better to extend the warranty and cheaper than Breitling ...IMHO

anyway ..UGPM
*
Extending the warranty means send the watch for service? Last I checked, 2k is the price range for chronographs, does it cost the same for a co-axial movement?

Big no no to wire transfers, especially such a large sum. Paypal for purchases (not gift) should be quite safe, but again I'd be wary if the seller is not well known.

Like CK said buy the seller first to minimize the risk of being scammed.

There are no 'levels'. Before I got my Omega the best watch I had was an Orient smile.gif

Speedy...hmm

Got one 3113 brand new selling for approx 12k from an online dealer.

Not bad value ...but brown dial.....

I was quoted 2330 Euro (~RM9400) for a brand new Speedy Pro early this year from an online AD, probably one of the best prices around.
