I'm not. Wonder what went wrong hmm.gif

IMO the only Tag model worth mentioning is the Monaco.

Err...you can try Watatime shops. The one in Subang Parade still carries Omega..but not all Wata carries Omega. They usually give better discounts. But overall...discounts for Omega is quite standard..Hourglass or Sincere about max 10% unless you getting clearout stocks.

I was told this by a salesgirl from Cortina Watch (Fahrenheit88 branch) - they can give >10% discount on Omega models provided you do not ask for a store receipt. The warranty is still valid though you would have to hold on to the warranty card or there would be no proof at all.

Guys,

if you were me, which one would you choose between these two:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Both of them are leading in my shortlist. I just cant decide which one to pick. If you guys give me some input, I might be able to choose. biggrin.gif. I like both of them. It's just the price of Tag is higher than Tissot but still within in my budget.

thanks!

Between those 2? Design and budget wise, I would choose Tissot. Brand wise (show off piece), get the Tag. It all depends on your preferences.

If I had other options, I'd go for a Hamilton Khaki or Jazzmaster chronograph, or a Ball. Solid designs and value for money pieces.

i checked out Guinand watches and I'm not really fond of their design, besides that their price range exceeds my budget... Ive come across this victorinox watch on other forums and I kinda like its design. What are ur views/comments on this? any idea on what the price is like in malaysia, its selling at around $1100 in amazon..

The watch looks disproportionate, especially the hands and pushers. Personally I don't like it.

Does luminous paint last that long? Even tritium tubes have a lifespan of 25 years.

What brand and materials are those beads?
*
No brand, bought from a local store. The material is apparently sandalwood (from Google translate) which has a light incense-like fragrance.

Thanks, it's a Hirsch Professional.

The Oris model you linked is an auto model. Did you post the right link?

A manual winding watch is likely thinner as it does not house a rotor which adds to the thickness. Power reserve will depend on the movement itself, not how it winds. Typically the PR is pretty much the same for the popular movements.

Between those 2, personally I'd go for the ML. I don't know if you realize this but the ML can be manually wound too, as is the case with most ETA based auto movements.

Black leather strap or black steel bracelet? Don't think you can find PVD (black ion plated) Casio watches for RM200.

The current product range can be found here but no price info.

Come on, you'll only be fueling the replica industry by buying fakes. If you can't afford a Rolex, why buy a fake when you can get an homage for a little more money (but still 20x cheaper than the original).

Is it so dangerous to wear a Rolex in town nowadays? I thought Malaysia is the 19th safest country in the world biggrin.gif
Sorry for my ignorance cos I don't own one and have not been spending much time in KL for much of the past 2 years.

its dangerous if u don't take precaution.. avoid lonely/dark areas... take precautions and the risk of getting into an incident decreases..

to add on to be safer, don't wear a rolex, get an IWC tongue.gif  tongue.gif

If she likes Baume then get her one smile.gif Else I think the ladies quartz version of the Omega Aqua Terra is within your budget. Can consider Longines or Frederique Constant too.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought there were no Cartier models in the sub-10k category, even the quartz ones.
