yes mod 6498. Alpina a sister brand of Frederique Constant, ~1-2yrs ago developed a inhouse movement.
I bought this late, in the sense prices of these have gone up significantly. Alpina is pretty renown for the regulators, esp extreme.

of all the regulators in the market, Louis Erard, Chronoswiss, Sinn; I found them too similar, looking for a sporty watch. Oh.. all Mod 6498 don't hack (even for those PAM!!), which is a down side for those looking for a hacking movement.

Found a great deal. no returns but its a decorated 6498 at just US$300 or under rm$1K

today's black cases are usually PVD. Yes mine is PVD.

Got this from a fellow member in Malaysia Watch Forum whom based in Taiwan.
